Susie Abromeit is an American actress, singer, songwriter, writer, and model. She was in the blockbuster film Battle: Los Angeles, has worked with Oscar winning director Jonathan Demme, is most known for her roles in the Bruce Willis film Setup, and playing the leading lady alongside Rudy Youngblood, in Beatdown.
At the age of 16, Susie became a top ranked tennis player earning a ranking of no. 6 in the US and went to Duke University on a full tennis scholarship. At the University, she set her sights on acting and music. Two years later she had a song with rapper Fat Joe that became a top requested song on radio stations in Florida. Two more of her songs that she wrote and produced, became top requested songs on selected radio stations in Florida. Her songs have been featured on the soundtracks to MTV's Taking the Stage and the film Know Thy Enemy.
Susie made her film debut as the lead in the LionsGate film, Know Thy Enemy. Soon after, she began to book roles in films such as Sydney White, Sex Drive, and I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. She also had a recurring role on One Tree Hill. She has since starred in 16-Love, Beatdown, Oscar Winner Nicolas Chartier’s Rush, and recently just wrapped a recurring role on Tyler Perry’s The Haves and Have Nots. She has had several guest star appearances on A Gifted Man, CSI: Miami, CSI, Necessary Roughness, and recurred on Hollywood Heights.
She has also appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and in 2010 she was in the Superbowl Commercial for Go Daddy.
She has also been involved with the Somaly Mam foundation and the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
